Event in Brief: Recently graduated as a Master of Science in Lasers in Dentistry with Honours, Johannesburg's Dr Thys Pienaar has stood out as a star student in the international class, flying the South African flag high, and continuing to ''wow'' daily in his surgery, not in the traditional way.

In an exclusive study-group type evening, we will briefly interview Dr Thys about the interesting journey this degree has taken him on, how a day in his surgery is compared to before or traditionally, and how laser-supported treatments super-enhance his protocols today. Take-home points for practitioners not wanting to go as far as M.Sc. level in lasers, but still know some good stuff.... The presentations will appeal to General Dentists, including Specialist Practitioners, as well as Oral Hygienists.
