Hands-on training will be provided on the Er,Cr;YSGG lasers (Biolase Waterlase iPlus / Express) as well as the Diode Lasers (940nm Biolase Epic X / Epic Pro) on extracted teeth and a sheep jaw bone for soft and hard tissue experience.

Theory followed by hands-on skills training of each procedure on a sheep jawbone using diode and erbium lasers.

Dr Jacques Ferreira

As a full-time dentist in the small town of Standerton, South Africa, Dr Jacques was one of the early adopters of laser technology in the country. Since it improved his results and expanded his clinical capabilities he became the go-to dentist to which other dentists and speciliasts would refer advanced cases to for laser-supported treatment. Laser education started with a post-graduate Mastership Diploma in Lasers in Dentistry (AALZ 2017) and immediately went on to the MSc. Degree which has just concluded after three years with final thesis at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Dr Ferreira has a great passion for educating the wonders of lasers in dentistry, and is a gifted teacher and trainer.

Dr Nico Verloop

After graduating as a dentist, Dr Nico built a successful dental practice in the Netherlands for 11 years and then relocated back to his roots in South Africa and was one of the first dentists to acquire the new generation All-Tissue Laser (Waterlase) in 2013. He then commenced his MSc. studies through Genoa University and achieved his MSc. Degree in 2016. Dr Nico is a meticulous advanced dentist who is well respected by peers and a popular family dentist in Pretoria with a special focus on Paediatrics, Endo and Orthodontics. Licensed to train, Dr Nico participates in various congresses and events as a guest speaker and trainer on the subject of Lasers in Paediatrics, Endo, Ortho, Perio, Cariology, Surgery and Biostimulation. cus on pedodontics and orthodontics.

DR BRYAN SHER

When not surfing or cycling, Dr Sher puts the fun into dentistry with the latest technologies such as the newest Smart CBCT X-Ray, Microscope and Loupes to advance his Laser-Supported Dentistry to the next level. As a General Dentist, Dr Sher adds the benefit of a BSc. Honours Degree in Physiology, Post-Graduate studies in Implantology, then a Mastership Diploma in Laser Therapy, and due to his absolute love for Lasers, he has just achieved his Master of Science Degree in Laser Dentistry through Germany's Aachen University. His beautiful Green Point Dental Practice in Cape Town also features a lecture and training facility for various technologies, mainly Lasers in Dentistry.
