NEW GREEN INNOVATION
THE ADVANCED 4-IN-1 DIGITAL X-RAY IMAGING SYSTEM
• PANO / CEPH / CBCT / MODEL SCAN
• MULTI FOV SELECTION
• GREEN SCAN TIME
• ENDO MODE WITH HIGH RESOLUTION
• INSIGHT 2.0 FEATURE
• 3D SCANNING FOR MODEL
Green X is an advanced 4-in-1 digital x-ray imaging system that incorporates Pano, Ceph (optional), CBCT, and Model Scan. With Vatech's extensive experience in the dental imaging eld, the Green X provides high-quality images with lower radiation by combining image processing. This will improve your diagnostic accuracy and lead to increased treatment planning and patient satisfaction.
ENDO MODE WITH HIGH RESOLUTION
With its 4cm x 4cm volume mode and 49.5 micron voxel size, the Endo mode will optimize treatment of highly-focused regions of interest. It is ideal for endodontic use because the dentist is able to achieve an extraordinary image in a high-resolution voxel size.

THE EVOLUTION OF X-RAY
The Evolution of X-Ray Video (08:14)
ALARA
"as low as reasonably achievable"
Making every reasonable effort to maintain the exposures to radiation as far below dose limits as is practicable.
Reducing the Risk of X-ray Images for all
Trips to the dentist are inevitable, even for children. However, radiation is more dangerous for growing children than adults. Thus, in 1977 the international commission on radiation protection [ALARA], set out the principles and international recommendation on how efforts should be made to reduce radiation exposure as much as possible, even if it is essential for medical purposes.
X-Rays Today
X-Ray technology has entered a new chapter. The early and mid 20th century focused on attaining more accurate images, while one of the biggest challenges of the latter half of the 20th century has been reducing the radiation of x-ray equipment. Vatech, a Korean Dental X-Ray Manufacturer who develop new technologies that advance x-ray technology and world's first technologies (see vatech.com/about) based on their rich Research and Development infrastructure (that makes up 30% of the company). They are the only company in the world that manufactures all components in their x-ray systems, including the x-ray tube, digital sensor (and software), and have been the most successful at managing x-ray risks with their ongoing developments in image processing technology to improve safety and quality. Vatech has reduced the scan time of dental CT scans from 24 seconds to 2.9 seconds based on their Green CT technology.
Speed: Vatech improves safety and image quality with their fastest x-ray scan times
Artefacts are often generated when producing x-ray images due to factors such as machine defect or patient movement. Artefacts degrade image quality and causes loss of diagnostic value. When patient movement occurs, they usually have to be re-examined, which means the patient receives unnecessary radiation, however if you can reduce the time it takes to take an x-ray, then it would be less likely that the patient moves around.
Reducing the radiation dose itself
Lower dose inevitably results in lower image quality due to increased noise levels. However with the recent development in image processing technology, Vatech has successfully removed noise from their images, achieving image quality equivalent to that of images taken with higher doses. With the help of technological advances and innovations, the radiation dose of Vatech CT has been reduced by 52.6% compared to conventional CT.
Technological approach in further reducing dose in medical imaging is still being carried out in various parts of the world. Making hospitals a safer place has long been our challenge.
As always, Vatech remains committed to developing 'Value Added TECHnology' to provide a better life for mankind.
